At seventeen Emma embarked on a lifelong love affair with Jazz. In 1996 she moved to the West Country and spent gigging with various groups in the area. She has sung with MOBO nominee Natalie Williams and Pianist Joe Stilgoe at Babington House. Emma has worked as a vocal coach for theatre productions and led workshops in Vocal Improvisation. She is a member of The Natural Voice Teachers Association and led natural voice choirs and workshops for many years specialising in Gospel and World Music. She trained at Goldsmiths University of London as a Community Music Leader.
